British Retail Consortium (BRC) Audits

ACFSQ has applied for and received accreditation to the ISO 65 Standard that is required for certification bodies to carry out audits to the BRC Global Standard - Food. Certification to this standard can be used as part of a tool to ensure the safe manufacture (processing, packing and distribution) of the food products that are produced and shipped to Europe and the UK.

EurepGAP Audits

Growers do not want to have their business reported in news headlines because of pesticide residues or E. Coli found in a grower’s produce. As a result of these problems, a consortium of European retailers devised the EurepGAP audit. Their suppliers are required to comply with the EurepGAP audit criteria in order to retain the opportunity to supply fresh produce to that retailer.
